CAELIS is not a machine for flying. Indoor altitude: three meters. Its pace, slower than a walk. Eight ducted fans and twenty-four sensors work in silence so that a sleeping cat never feels a sway — a hover like a cloud.

Silence is
the most advanced engineering.

You are looking at the Hidden Ducted Fan propulsion unit. Each fan's eight blades turn only inside the body, never touching the open air. This invisible part is where we spent the longest time.

Eight fans, fully enclosed in the body — the rotors are physically out of reach. Airflow exits through micro-slits in the base at a speed that would not stir a feather.

Solid-state cells with no flammable electrolyte to begin with, distributed under the floor so the center of gravity sits directly beneath your cat. Ninety minutes of flight; charging is simply landing on the pad.

03 — SAFETY

If one fan stops, the remaining seven rebalance instantly. Should everything stop, an independent descent system lowers the pod to the floor at 0.2 m per second, quietly.

It reads gaze, ears, and the tip of the tail to infer where your cat wants to go. It slows at the small shuffle before a dismount, and lowers gently when the loaf position sets in.

Twenty-four sensors map your home at 5 mm resolution, flying with a safe margin past furniture corners and pendant lights. Darkness changes nothing.

Noise is cancelled inside the ducts with anti-phase sound, and high frequencies are filtered for feline hearing (up to 64 kHz). Neither your sleep nor your cat's night is disturbed.

It began with
a single cat at the window.

2038 — ORIGIN

At the home of our founder, Keiru, one cat sat at the same window every day, tracking the birds. "If she could travel the sky, what would she see?" CAELIS began with that question.

2039 — 2040 / DEVELOPMENT

Forty-seven prototypes. Veterinary behaviorists and aerospace engineers sat at the same table and removed everything a cat finds frightening — noise, vibration, sudden acceleration — one by one. The final test was attended not by pilots, but by twelve cats.

2041 — LAUNCH

And this spring, production unit No. 1 was delivered to the cat at that window.

Frequently asked questions

Flight altitude is capped at 3.0 m indoors, and eightfold redundancy keeps the pod flying through a single-system fault. Even without propulsion, an independent system auto-lands at 0.2 m per second. The canopy is aircraft-grade polycarbonate — sealed during flight, and one touch of a front paw opens it when your cat wants out.

For the first two weeks, CAELIS runs in a non-flying "bed mode". Only after your cat chooses the pod as a sleeping spot does AI Flight OS begin to climb, starting from a few centimeters. The onboarding program was designed with veterinary behaviorists. And for the ones who never choose the sky, we offer returns within 30 days of delivery.

Up to 90 minutes of continuous flight per charge. Charging starts the moment it lands on the included wireless pad; a full charge takes about two hours. At 20% battery, the pod returns to the pad on its own.

The current model is designed for indoor use only. The outdoor module CAELIS Terrace — geofenced flight for balconies and gardens — is planned to reach every model via the 2042 update. The Space Edition ships with the module already built in, so outdoor flight becomes available the day the update is released.

Shipping begins spring 2041, in reservation order. Every model includes White Glove delivery — a specialist visits, installs, and completes the indoor mapping. Five-year warranty; the battery is covered by a ten-year replacement program.
